Our Career Counseling staff offers:

  • Career counseling - individualized career exploration and planning
  • Career assessment utilizing the Strong Interest Inventory, the Self-Directed Search, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (See also Testing Center page for additional assessment information.)
  • CAREER ENCOUNTERS - A NEW Career program designed for students to explore their career interests by visiting a local employer on-site.  (For .jpg format)
  • Topical workshops and outreach programming for faculty, classes, and campus organizations (See also the Educational Support Program page for seminar and test preparation information.)
  • Career Library and Resource Center featuring Discover software and Internet access in 211 Wilder Tower, North.
In addition, the University of Memphis offers placement services for prospective graduates and alumnae through the Office of Career and Employment Services.

Career Services are provided in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.
