Writing a Winning Resume

Career Services is pleased to offer RESUME RESPONSE, which provides convenient times for students to receive assistance with their resumes. Students can use these times to obtain feedback and ask questions that can be addressed within 5-10 minutes. To ensure this service meet their needs, students should call and make an appointment for Resume Response (901)678-2239. A staff member will be available for Resume Response during the following times:

Monday: 3-4 p.m.

Friday: 3-4 p.m.

RESUME RESPONSE does not provide services related to resume preparation; it is designed to give students feedback regarding prepared resumes. For this reason, when students visit and use RESUME RESPONSE, they should have their resumes with them and specific questions or concerns.

If you need a thorough critique of your resume for feedback regarding corrections, appearance, wording, etc., our 24 hour Resume Critique Service is still available. With resume critique, students can drop off their resume on any day and receive it the next business day, with noted corrections and suggestions for improvements.

If students would prefer more time and individual attention with their resumes, appointments can be scheduled with Career Advisors by calling 678-2239.
