Membership Questions:
Q: If I am not a Faculty/
Staff or Student at the University of Memphis,
may I have a membership at the SRFC facilities?
A: Yes, you may become a "Community Member" of the facility for
a fee: (Full Facility Access):
Individual Membership - $720 per year/$360 for 6 months
Family Membership - $1200 per year / $600 for 6 months
(1 guest is allowed per member at $5.00 per visit)
Adult Community Pool Only (Available only during the summer. This membership
runs from June through August)
Individual Membership - $270.00
Family Membership - $540.00
Documents required to process Family Memberships:
Spouse: Marriage License or Certificate Dependent Children: Birth Certificate
or Insurance card (with dependant child’s name)
All of these fees are to be paid in full at time of enrollment. Payment must
be made by CASH or CHECK ONLY at the SRFC.
Q: How do I obtain a Membership Application to the Student Recreation and
Fitness Center?
A: Come to the Rec. Center located at 620 Echles, Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm,and inquire at the entry counter.
Q: I'm a UM Alumni, can I use the recreation center?
A: Yes, you can pay a
minimum donation to the Alumni Association 678-ALUM then pay $5.00 per
visit or you can buy a Alumni or Community membership.
Q: Can the community use the tennis
courts without a membership?
A: Yes, the tennis courts are the only exception for non
member community. Charge is $10.00 per person per session.
Q: Now that I have my Membership where may I park?
A: General Parking permits may be purchased at the Parking Office for $10.93 per
Month.
Metered parking spots for the rate of $2.00 per hour.
An Invited Visitor Pass may be purchased through the Parking
Office for $1.00 ( this is a one day pass which will allow you to park in any of
the general parking lots)
Free parking is available on Echles Street and Spottswood
Road
(limited spaces)
Parking Office is located on Zach Curlin Street in the front of the parking
garage.
Bikes can be parked at the racks provided. Bikes cannot be place in
facilities or on stair hand rails
