STEPS TO APPEAL PARKING CITATIONS
- Read what your ticket is for and make sure you understand the charge.
- If you feel you are not at fault for the parking violation, pick up an appeal form from one of the following locations:
120 Zach Curlin in Parking Services (that's the bottom of the parking garage)
Online at http://bf.memphis.edu/forms/park/StuTraAppeal.htm
- Fill out the appeal form providing all the information you have to prove your case.
- Take the appeal to Parking Services at 120 Zach Curlin along with your ticket. If you don't have a copy of your ticket, one can be provided for you at the Parking Services office.
- Your appeal will be forwarded to Student Government Court for review. The Court meets weekly during fall and spring semesters to review appeals of parking citations. Dates, locations, and times when parking citation appeals will be reviewed by the Court can be found at http://saweb.memphis.edu/judicialaffairs/ or check with Parking Services. Students will be granted an opportunity to appeal in person before the Court upon request.

Note: In-person appeals to the Student Government Court are not available during the summer sessions
*All decisions made by the Student Government Court regarding parking citations are final. T he Office of Student Judicial and Ethical Programs does not review any citation appeals.
