Organization's Purpose To teach the culture of Spain and Latin America To give a foundation for students interested in Spanish language or culture To cooperate with people in the community interested in Spanish language or culture To provide Spanish Students an opportunity to get involved with the university and other students with common interests To participate in the annual Language Fair and other University activities To have a casual environment in which people can comfortably and informally be exposed to the Spanish language and culture To educate ourselves and each other without pressure from the duties of class To provide the campus community with a diverse organization
Criteria for Membership A member of the Spanish Club must have an interest in the Spanish language or culture. Members are accepted regardless of their Spanish-speaking ability. There will be no discrimination against any race, color, gender, or religion. An official member is defined as an individual that has attended 60% of meetings and/or Spanish Club activities. 50% of the membership of the organization is limited to currently enrolled students.
